    In many developing countries roads and rivers are scarcely navigable. The safest and most efficient way to transport humanitarian freight, medication, patients and relief workers in these areas is by air.
    LZG-ASF NL uses her knowledge and contacts in the aviation sector to facilitate and support humanitarian airtransport.

  • Ethel back to Malawi

    LZG-ASF NL made travel arrangement for 6 year old Ethel, who needed complicated heart surgery. Our volunteer Stieneke van Stam went to Malawi to escort Ethel to the Netherlands. The Open heart for Kids foundation arranged everything regarding Ethel's surgery and stay in the Netherlands. After Ethel was sufficiently recovered from the medical procedure, she was escorted back to her village in Malawi by Stieneke.

  • Air Cargo Shipment

    Annually LZG-ASF NL facilitates the transportation of a large amount of humanitarian airfreight. In 2011 LZG-ASF NL realised, thanks to KLM Cargo, the transportation of 14.000 kg of medications and other humanitarian airfreight!

    Our aircraft missions department supports other humanitarian organisations with the selection & preparation of experienced pilots, technicians and administrative staff.   • Aircraft Missions

    Since the founding of LZG-ASF NL in 1987, the aircraft missions department has been active in several countries. The mission statement has remained the same through all these years: to use our in-house expertise for humanitarian purposes. During the last 24 years LZG-ASF NL was involved in missions in countries such as Sudan, Tanzania and the Central African Republic (CAR).

  • National Events

    LZG-ASF NL organizes national events related to her core activities, such as the 'I Can Fly'-days. During these days chronic ill and disabled children are treated to a fun day wherein they can explore the world of flying.

The Dutch foundation Luchtvaart Zonder Grenzen- Aviation Sans Frontières NL uses her expertise in the airline industry for small scale humanitarian projects, and supports related projects of other NGO's.

LZG-ASF NL facilitates and supports aircraft missions, humanitarian airfreight transportation, and provides travel arrangements and accompaniment for children in need of complicated surgery.

LZG-ASF NL carries out her work irrespective of religion, race, philosophy, nationality and/or political views.
